Sometimes I get wild-haired ideas that I know other people might think are crazy and WAY outside the box. But usually along with these ideas comes some sort of inspiration or intuitive guidance on why these things will work, why they’re important, and how to execute.
One of these moments of inspiration came in the form of a story that seemed like it was for children. I was navigating a challenge in my personal life and praying daily for how to deal with it in the best way possible. The answer didn’t come in the form of specific instructions on what I needed to do. Rather, it came in the form of this story. This story taught me principles that were important for me to embrace and share with the world. So I wrote it down. The story was about a little girl who was given a red cape and about the experiences which helped her to learn that the answer is always love (#nothingbutlove) and anything is possible when we work together (#togetherwecan). It will come as no great surprise that the challenges I had faced taught me the same invaluable lessons and cemented the principles of servant leadership and collaboration deep in my heart.
